Solve real problems
Start with a need—not interesting technology.
A solution earns attention when it improves something real. Technology should serve the operation rather than become the operation.
About Nolbro Holdings
Nolbro begins by observing a real problem or opportunity, understanding how the operation works, and asking what could be made simpler, more useful, or more durable.
Where Nolbro starts
The company did not begin with a plan to stay inside one narrow category.
Nolbro starts with something inefficient, frustrating, disconnected, or unnecessarily complicated and asks: Why does it work this way, and could it work better?
That question can lead to software, a better operating process, a new product, or a business built around the missing solution. The output changes. The method stays consistent.
Why build instead of accept?

Learn by doing
Nolbro’s own businesses act as proving grounds. Firsthand use exposes the details that hypothetical requirements often miss.
Earn trust
Credibility comes from straightforward work, honest product language, and a willingness to show what a solution can—and cannot—do.
Build assets
Whenever practical, build systems, brands, businesses, relationships, and intellectual property that can continue creating value.
The bridge and keystone
The Nolbro identity contains a subtle bridge: a connection between where something is and where it could be. Its keystone represents the stable, supporting piece that lets everything around it hold together.
The foundation matters because a solution should be capable of lasting. Forward movement matters because no useful operation should remain static simply because change is difficult.
See the gap. Build the bridge. Give it a foundation.
Build from experience
Nolbro often develops its own products from firsthand operating needs rather than abstract specifications.
Nolbro Collectibles is a clear example.
Acquiring and managing collectible inventory exposed problems in intake, cataloging, pricing, storage, sales preparation, and reporting. Building from inside that operation made the needs concrete and created a practical system shaped by day-to-day use.
Tired Market began differently: with the difficulty of organizing market data, news, multiple analytical perspectives, and historical context into a usable research process. Different operation. Same method.
Explore the portfolioSoftware was the beginning
Software gives Nolbro unusual leverage: one well-designed system can make an operation clearer, faster, and more capable.
It remains one of the company’s strongest capabilities and the foundation behind several current products. But Nolbro was intentionally formed as Nolbro Holdings, not as a narrowly named software agency.
The long view is to build and acquire a portfolio of useful businesses, products, intellectual property, property, and other long-term assets where the same practical principles can create value. Nolbro is early in that story, and the broader horizon is a direction—not a claim of scale that does not yet exist.
Founder
Founder, Nolbro Holdings LLC
Steve founded Nolbro around a simple habit: when something does not work particularly well, understand why before accepting that it has to remain that way.
His current role spans business strategy, product development, software architecture, infrastructure, and hands-on operations across Nolbro’s early ventures. That direct connection between the problem, the operation, and the build keeps the company grounded in practical outcomes.
